The ultrasound has a thermally and a mechanical effect. Thereby the shockwaves absorbed by the tissue are transformed in to warmth. The ultrasound can penetrate into the deepest tissue layers by this method. More over the ultra sound triggers pressure variations that are comparable to a micro massage in the tissue.
Ultra sound reduces pain, supports blood circulation, improves the elasticity of collagen fibres, relieves cramps, increases cell activity and metabolism and relaxes the muscles. Furthermore, the ultrasound therapy activates the regeneration of diseased tissue.
For the conduction of the ultrasound waves a sound head is used that is placed directly onto the skin and moved circular.
